In response to the recent CDC regulations for re-entry into the US and Canada, we are making it very easy for you to enjoy Amor Boutique Hotel and all the wonderful things our pueblo of Sayulita has to offer.
1. We have changed our cancellation policy to provide you with greater flexibility, free of penalties and allow you to cancel your reservation via email up to 48 hours prior to your arrival and receive a full credit letter for a future stay valid for up to two years after your original arrival date. Even though rental rates may be higher in the future, your original rate will be honored.

2. When vacationing with us, to receive your Covid test for re-entry into the US and Canada, there are many testing options to choose from in Sayulita, Punta de Mita, Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta . We have found the following to be the most convenient for you which are all approved by the CDC. As well, you are welcome to ask for a list of other options.
Sayulita
In the comfort and privacy of your own villa, licensed chemist Francisco Rivera can administer both the PCR or Antigen tests which should be scheduled 3 days prior to your flight home. The PCR test has a cost of $200 USD and your results are sent via email 2 days after. The Antigen test has a cost of $105 USD and your results are sent via email within 24 hours.
Punta Mita Hospital
Two tests are available and both are approved for re-entry into the US and Canada. The cost for PCR is $185 USD and your results are available in 12-18 hours via email. The Antigen test costs $65 USD and your results are ready within 4-6 hours via email.
Puerto Vallarta Airport
Testing modules are now installed in Puerto Vallarta Airport facilities. The cost of the Antigen test is $450 pesos ($22 USD) and the PCR test is $1,450 pesos ($71 USD), both prices will be applicable only to international passengers on international flights. Results take around 45 minutes to be ready, so we would suggest leaving with 2 at least 2 additional hours from what you had originally planned.
Both tests meet the requirements for re-entry and the difference between each test is that the PCR test evaluates the virus RNA in the nose or throat swab sample. This is the most accurate test and the Antigen test evaluates specific proteins on the surface of the virus and is less accurate but sufficient for re-entry.
